Cookie Policy
Last updated: 25 May 2026
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones Pax Anima uses on this website and platform, and how you can control them.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. Similar technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage store information in your browser.
2. Cookies we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Expiry | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| refresh_token | HTTP-only cookie (Secure, SameSite=Strict) | Keeps you signed in between sessions; never readable by JavaScript. | 7 days | Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| i18nextLng | localStorage (not a cookie) | Remembers your selected language. | Until cleared | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
3. Cookies set by third parties
| Service | When set | Purpose | Policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stripe | When entering paid checkout | Payment security and fraud prevention | stripe.com/privacy |
4. What we do NOT use cookies for
- Advertising or retargeting
- Cross-site behavioural tracking
- Selling or sharing data with brokers
- Optional analytics cookies
5. How to manage cookies
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies and language storage, we do not show a cookie consent banner.
- Delete all cookies via your browser settings.
- Block cookies (note: this can affect sign-in).
- Clear localStorage and remove the i18nextLng key.
6. Changes to this policy
We update the ‘Last updated’ date whenever this policy changes. If optional cookies are introduced in future, consent will be requested first.
